Abstract
In light of the digital revolution reshaping knowledge systems, this study addresses the complex nature of measurement and evaluation, situated between quantitative objectivity and qualitative context. Adopting a critical analytical approach, the research combines educational phenomenology and logical positivism to explore modern assessment practices and their role in shifting from traditional evaluation toward learner-centered learning. The paper highlights the transition to authentic assessment and adaptive artificial intelligence as tools for redefining success based on individual progress rather than collective standards. Through case study analysis, it examines diverse educational applications and raises ethical questions about whether digital tools may create new forms of inequality. The study concludes by advocating for “assessment humanism,” a vision that merges technological advancements with educational values rooted in cultural awareness and individual uniqueness.
